DOGTANIAN AND WILLY FOG LAUNCH THEIR FIRST INTERACTIVE TALES ALONG WITH BRB AND MEIKME

BRB Internacional and Meikme have just launched Dogtanian’s Journey and The Bet, the first interactive tales based on Dogtanian and the Three Muskehounds and Around the World with Willy Fog. The stories, available in two languages –Spanish and English- both for iOS and Android, aim to bring the adventures of these animated classics closer to the new readers through a digital format that combines text, video and activities.

Dogtanian’s Journey and The Bet represent two original apps for children that adapt the beginning episodes of the classic series in two interactive tales, and will surely delight children and people of all ages. Infants will accompany the animated protagonists, recreating original scenes from the classic series and becoming much more than mere spectators, since they will be able to activate sounds, construct sentences… and even play with puzzles and several other activities. Parents will have the chance to share with them the animated classics from their childhood, helping their children embark on an adventure that will result in Dogtanian becoming a Muskehound, and Willy Fog completing his journey around the world.

Raúl Barroso, from Meikme, has stated: “We are thrilled with the idea of being the first ones presenting the adaptation of these iconic series from BRB Internacional to the interactive tale format. Their two initial stories are now available on Google Play and App Store and users have free access to both of them".

Marijo Arnáiz, Director of Digital Media at BRB Internacional, adds: “We join Meikme betting on an alternative form of promoting reading habits at a short age by using new technologies. And we do it via animated cartoons which, at the same time, are based on great works of universal literature… Dogtanian’s Journey and The Bet will for sure be an excellent form of entertainment for families during the upcoming Christmas!
